The American Gynecological & Obstetrical Society advances the health of women by providing dedicated leadership and promoting excellence in research, education and medical practice. The AGOS is an organization composed of individuals attaining national prominence in scholarship in the discipline of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health.
The American Gynecological and Obstetrical Society (AGOS) was awarded a grant from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Education Foundation (ABOG-EF) for the purpose of an endowed lectureship focusing on education in women’s health.
The 2014 Endowed Lectureship at the AGOS Annual Meeting was presented by Catherine DeAngelis, MD, MPH, who presented "Conflict of Interest in Medical Research and Publication" on Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 10:30 – 11:15 a.m. at the Fairmont Millennium Park in Chicago, IL. The 2013 Endowed Lectureship at the AGOS Annual Meeting was presented by Michael C. Lu, MD, MPH who presented “Ob-Gyns and the American Dream” on Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 10:45 – 11:45 am at the Intercontinental Hotel in Chicago, IL.
